Gary Decker - June Staff of the Month
Posted by: klozano on Thursday, July 21, 2005 - 08:17 AM
Discovery Program submitted by Alice Alvarez

Mr. Gary Decker began working with our center on 4-19-05. In the time he has been a part of our team he has exhibited commendable professionalism. Mr. Gary began by working with our Preschool classes and in May ’05 started assisting with the Discovery program. From the 1st day that I observed Mr. Gary interacting with the children I could see he had a calming affect on the class. When I walked into Preschool, and now in Discovery, children are engaged, enjoying themselves, and content. Mr. Gary has a natural instinct of knowing what interests the children. He enjoys being a child with them and having fun. He shows the children respect and maintains order within his class, all with is his calming quiet demeanor.

Mr. Gary’s fellow team members comment on what a team player he is, always willing to help. They have notices what an exceptional job he is doing with the Discovery class. Daily, since Discovery began fellow staff members have walked into my office just to say “Gary is doing so good…”

Thank you Mr. Gary for what you have brought to BSA. We enjoy your presence and look forward to working with you in the future.

Yours truly,
The Staff of B.S.A. C.D.C.
