If you have been looking for change in the ashtray and digging under the car seats for stray quarters just to get a tiny hamburger from the dollar menu at your local drivethru- maybe it's time for a change. Precious Minds New Connections Workshop |

For families with children under the age of four, Blessed Sacrament Academy has a free parenting class just for you! Beginning Thursday, April 10, the Precious Minds New Connections programs runs for 8 evening sessions. A family meal is provided at 5:30 pm and the class session is from 6 to 8pm. Childcare is provided during sessions to meet the needs of busy families who want to take time to learn more about raising happy healthy children. This class meets requirements for Child Protective Services and court mandated classes. Certificates and awards will be given to all graduates at the final lesson on May 29th. Alice Alvarez, the BSA Child Development Center Director will be teaching this program. There is still time to sign up for the next class. Call Kathy Lozano at 532-0894 to reserve your space.

2008 CDC CALENDARS
We still have plenty of C.D.C. calendars available if you would like to purchase on for $5.00. The calendar is full of beautiful pictures of children who attend our center. A special thank you to Ms. Fran for all her hard work organizing the pictures in our calendar.

National Accreditation Awarded to BSA Child Development Center |

Congratulations are in order for all the staff, parents and children of the BSA Child Development Center! On July 12, 2007, Director Alice Alvarez received official notification that the Center has been accredited by the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs. This prestigious designation is reserved for programs of outstanding quality. After an extensive self study process and an on-site evaluation of all areas of the program, curriculum and facility, BSA was awarded the designation of National
Accreditation. BSA Child Development Center also received the seal of approval as a faith based early education program.
Many thanks to all who helped us achieve this long awaited goal. Administrators, classroom staff and families each played a special role in building a quality learning experience for young children. We are joyfully celebrating this great achievement and look forward to further developing in
excellence. Congratulations to all!!!
